Parents Does anyone else have a child who does not like to do gymnastics outside of class/practice?

Mine did at first, but now with longer hours in preteam, she'd rather make rainbow looms or devour books in her free time. I still catch her upside down on the couch or in a candlestick a lot.

My DD has a set list of things she goes through daily: handstand push ups, sit ups, splits (on and off beam), oversplits, weights and various stretches to help open her shoulders.
Luckily we've not got enough space for cartwheels/RO without her crashing into everything so she's given up trying that now!

My DD has never been one for practising much at home. She does have a list of stretches to do regularly because she is not naturally flexible but I often have to remind her to do those. She'd rather read or play on the computer.
