Coach
Some of my gymnasts do gainer pikes off the end of the beam, one of them takes off slightly wonky every time and lands to the side if the beam this mean it will get downgraded, does anyone have and tips/drills that will help her to take off in a straight line so she can get credited it as a 'c' rather than a 'b'
Thanks :)

My friend in my group had this problem and some of the drills that my coach did to help her was:
- if you have a pit get them do go step step kick up as though they were going to do a gainer but stay straight and making sure that they exaggerate the move forward
- when they have mastered the drill above try with the pike sault you could spot this by putting box in pit and pushing them forward as well as helping them rotate
- when mastered that drill do the first drill of the end of the beam making the matting up to beam level
- Then repeat drill 2 of the end off the beam
Hope this helped if you want anything else like better explaining message me
