How are vaults scored?

I have a daughter that is competing in sanctioned Level 3 meets in TN.

My question is how are vaults scored......There are two judges and each girl performs two vaults

Does each judge score both vaults separately and then the score is averaged or does each judge score the best of the two vaults and then the score is averaged?

Both vaults are scored and averaged separately. The actual score is the vault with the highest average.

Ok gymkat got it spot on but i think there is room for confusion so i am going to clear it up the 2 judges judge each vault individually and each vault on there own. The two scores for corresponding vaults are averaged for each vault. Highest score is the score that is shown.
