Proud Parent
My dd has started to learn leg lifts and L hangs on bars. When she is home practicing the leg lifts she is pushing her pelvic up(forward). Is this correct or should her body stay straight and just legs lift up? How do you correct this? She wants to work on this.

I have noticed different clubs and coaches look for different things.

I personally look for the shoulders staying completely open, head neutral and legs locked straight. So the pelvis will lift a little. Closing the shoulders to create the lift is the biggest no no to me.

I would ask her coach about what to focus on. They will be pleased she is trying to improve something useful at home.
