Hi, I'm new to this forum and I was hoping I could get the opinions of some others on a problem. My daughter is part of a pre-team and we paid $400 for a leo and other team things, but the problem I have is the way they handled giving girls the leos and the fact that my daughter's is too small. We paid the fee this spring for next spring competitions when my daughter will be six. The leos arrived only two days before a meet at their gym when they are supposed to wear them and no one notified us they would be handing them out, so we went upstairs where we always wait for class to begin. A little while later we were informed leos were handed out, the only size they had left was xsmall, a size for 3-4 year olds and my six year is supposed to squeeze into it. It's tight on her now, but she can get away with wearing it for short periods. I'm mostly annoyed with the fact that girls smaller and younger than my daughter got smalls and my daughter is being forced to wear a leo too small because the gyms unprofessional way in which they handled the leos. When we got her ballet costume it was measured for her and had her name on it to ensure everyone got one that fit. I tried talking to multiple people at the gym and no one cares, then the head coach yelled at me in front of my family, daughter and everyone at the meet, saying the leo is perfect on her and it's not the gyms fault she didn't get a small when other girls did. What should I do? The gym is not a gym I am afraid to leave, except there is only one other gym in the area so if we leave this gym we won't have any options if we have a problem with the other gym. If we leave, trust me it is not only because of the leo, there are several other problems this gym has, this would just be the last straw, but I see it as more of a fact that the gym is not professional, and they don't seem to care about the people that pay a lot for tuition and team fees.
