Hi all

i really want to move up to level 6....but im only a level 5, and i didnt do to well at my meets this year. i believe that my major problem is flexibility and strength, im really unflexible and not too strong. i need a ROBHBT to move up..and my back handsprings are pretty bad, can anyone help me to improve them and help me get more strong and flexible?

any tips are appreciated thanks! <3 <3

What's wrong with your backhandspring you need to be more specific. For now just keep practising handstands free and against the wall.

my back handsprings are pretty slow and my legs bend and separate

If your back handspring is slow, there is a good chance that your round off needs work. The only real strength involved is the ability to do a handstand and a core that you can use to keep the body flipping.
As a coach and going by your description, I'd say you need to have a clean round off to back handspring before ever working a tuck. Since I haven't actually seen your tumbling, I really can't say for sure.
