Parents Mock meets

Does your gym only hold mock meets for only one program or if they do hold a mock meet do they hold it for both programs?

Our gym has both Xcel and DP . We have mock meets for both.

Yes- for DP and Xcel.

We have a mock meet for our Step 1 gymnasts that have never competed before. It is mostly to give them an idea of what to expect. There are no mock meets for any other level

For boys, only the compulsory levels participate in the mock meet. Level 7+ doesn’t get to attend. I believe that the girls compulsory and xcel each have mock meets.

We only have mock meets for the rec levels and preteam. Though I can see why it would be helpful for team.

Our gym is smaller and they only held a mock meet for levels and excluded xcel.
Which could have been done given our size of xcel. I mean less than a handful of Golds, 2 Platinum, less than a dozen silvers. But idk
I think I’m annoyed that I it could have been done and not sure why it wasn’t. Or I could be wrong.
Guess that’s the question in need to ask our gym. Sigh.
I’m also nervous because it seems like ours xcel is shrinking which is making me nervous. But most of everything from team meetings to our host meet are hold around the levels schedule vs going back and forth to accommodate those not in levels.
