There is some debate about what kind of floor music is good for little girls, say 10 and under. Do the judges 'like' very young sounding music like sparkles and stuff? Is 11 and up considered to be ok for a more mature piece? Picking the right music is so important, what should go into it? Should the parents and gymnast have some input?
Above all, is there a silent standard about what the judges like to hear, or how the music goes with the routine?

I'm not sure about what the judges like but if the gymnast does not like there music there routine will feel forced. If they love the music and shows there personality they are more likely to show it off! I think that younger gymnasts should be assisted with choosing music (maybe give them a chose of 5-10 songs) and should not have dramatic music.
