I saw this same video POP up on my fb. Like everyone I was very intrigued. But knowing all too well the possibility that this could be a hoax caused me to research further. I didn't know anything about kony prior to the video. I am very rattled knowing that this devil is very real and innocent children. Are suffering. I can not imagine having to undergo such atrocities.Kony does have to be stopped that is for sure. But like Empowered said it takes much more than just what the video advocates. I'm all for raising awareness. And believe me this is not an isolated case. We here in the USA are very lucky. For the most part our children are protected by law. In places like Uganda and Guatemala that isn't the case. Yes, children are threatened in other areas in similar ways as Uganda.People do the research and only after make a sound decision of what needs to be done. Violence of all kinds needs to end. This world is ridden with violence. If anything this video has opened up my eyes to what is really going on.I hope this is something that is ok to post. Just saw this video and it really moved me. I just warn anybody out here, to not go to great lengths to help through this organization as it is most likely a scam.
This is is no way a defense of this man who is undoubtedly a monster. But he hasn't been in Uganda since 2006 and the LRA numbers in the hundreds not the tens of thousands as stated in the film. As disgusting as this man is, I am equally sickened that film makers would distort and exagerrate facts AND that they would use the guise of a situation like this to pad their own pockets. The bulk of this organizations' donations DO NOT go to helping those on the ground in Uganda, they go to filmmaking and advertising.

Editing here: There are always 2 sides to every story and I am sure the truth as always lies somewhere in between (again I an NOT defending Kony, he is a foul person who needs the worst punishment imaginable)... but things like this that circulate so quickly and so freely on the internet terrify me. I am an adult, I know to look further into anything I read... but children don't and taking everything you read on the internet at face value as 100% truth is dangerous.
