Anyone know how an athlete gets to the event finals whose team didn't make it to the finals? I know its possible, since there were athletes out there whose team didn't make it, but my question is how?
A gymnast tied for fourth on the first day and his score would have tied for eigth on the day of finals. He is also ranked for this same event. Why didn't he make it to finals?
