DD does not have a regular Friday practice so we were off anyway but we did have a last minute meet yesterday. Since we love Halloween in this house and go drunk or treating (adults pull wagon with cooler full of beer) while group of kids trick or treat, an 8am session would've killed us. Thankfully it was an afternoon one and we were so tired the night before our party ended early anyway.
They did regular practice on Thursday night and the coach gave them a treat for every good skill done and she came home w/a huge bag of candy plus whatever some of us moms passed out afterwards.
DD went as a Bride of Satan (long black/red dress, red lipstick, purple eye shadow carried a black rose) and DS (10) was a phantom. DS (12) hates Halloween and hasn't dressed up for years but walked with us some and then went back to the house to pass out the treats.
