Strange question, what type of tape is best to use on rips?
DDs been using KT tape over the top of normal plasters when she rips, which really helps and let's her continue training. But she's going through KT tape like there's no tomorrow and it's hurting my bank account :(

Are there any other (cheaper) tape options that will stick as well and won't peel off when on bars?

Our girls use electrical tape. Sticks to the skin enough but doesn't pull the flappy bits of loose skin. They wrap it around their hands/wrists (under the handguards) rather than just over the rip. Best of all it is really cheap - about one pound for five rolls from asda.

I'm with Frase, I have never had a rip, but my dad is an electrician and as a kid growing up I found my uses for electrical tape, and uses as a make shift band- aid was one. It is extremely gentle on skin.
