DD is turning 8 in September and competing L4. She was fast tracked and trains with girls doing L6/7 since we have a small gym. For summer she has some flexibility and I am looking for guidance on a good number of hours that would help her improve but not burn out or get injured. Other L4s are doing 15 hours and her group 25. She did 16 during the school year which seemed a lot for her while going to school. Thoughts?
