You all make really good points.This issue was finally resolved in our gym, even though i still think there are some feelings. Now insteed of punishing us for going to a different gym, they say they want to learn some things from us that he does differently than we do.

Does anyone know what a front handspring on beam is worth? my guess is that is a "B" or "C" skill but i'm not sure. Also I've herd it counts as a flight skill..... does it?:confused:
My coach tells me to think that someone is pulling u by a string straight up. it makes you stretch up before you go back wards. this helped me,so maybe it can help you too
I went threw alot of stages with doing anything backwards, the best thing you can do is build her confidence. start her working backwards on a trampoline or tumble track then do it onto matts anything, and the beam just start low. With me and fly aways my coach would spot me and have me do them...
I went to an auction and bought and old vaulting bord. it looks exactly like a spring bord, but has these "airbags" instead of springs. It is made by AAI and has a blue carpet covering. I was wondering if anyone had ever seen one of these before or knew how old it was or any information:)
