To any of you with the x brace, does it provide decent arch support? Or is there another brace with arch support?

I have quite flat feet and over pronation, which used to cause quite a bit of foot and calf pain when I was younger. Luckily, Physio and wearing good shoes with insoles helped, but as I can't wear shoes for training (except for warm up and conditioning), some pain has returned. I've also been getting pretty bad shin pain recently (during tumbling and leaps especially) which I think might be due to my feet as I only have pain when I'm barefoot. Does anyone have any experience with this and/or some recommendations for braces, taping, etc?

My dd has very high arches and is tight all up and down the backside. She finds Xbraces helpful and supportive but maybe not a miracle or end all be all solution. Good luck!
