I am looking for suggestions on the best home conditioning exercises for my 6 (almost 7) year old son as it seems his biggest challenge right now is building up some of the strength he needs to be successful. I exercise at home and he loves to 'work out' with me, so it would only be whatever he wants to do with me. We have a doorway pull-up bar and pvc paralettes as well as some light hand weights already. Thanks!

spotted l and straddle presses to handstand, skin the cats on the pullup bar, L work on the paralettes and bar, lots of pullups in over and undergrip, L, hs on paralettes, pushups

My son does the following most nights...we have to make him stop to go to bed!
Push ups
L-Sits on floor and paralletes
V-sits on floor and paralletes
Sit ups
Handstands on wall with just nose chest and toes touching
handstands off wall
handstands on paralletes
(some of those would need to be spotted)
Chinups
V-ups (hold on to chin up bar and bring feet up to meet hands or as close as you can)

Other things not related to the strength:
Splits, splits, splits
The shoulder stretch where they reach back with their hands over their heads and lay as flat as possible on the floor? (Eagle?)
Scale contests (with mom....i am still the winner although he says my form "sucks" LOL)

Some of the strength will just come with age, but if he likes doing it, have fun with it!!!
