They objected when Rachel mentioned Larry's daughter by name. The daughter's name will not appear in the court transcripts. Why did the defense lawyer object during Rachel’s victim impact statement?
Why did the defense lawyer object during Rachel’s victim impact statement?
I thought she objected because Rachel was calling her out. Rachel said her character had been questioned and that the defense lawyer accused Rachel of doing this all for the money. Rachel stated, “there is only one of us who is being paid to be here in court, there is only one of us who took selfies in the courtroom, and there is just one of us who stated to reporters that maybe she should say cheese.”
I could be mistaken but that’s why I thought the defense lawyer objected during Rachels’s statement.
My suspicion is that he was linked to Sharp and Jared the subway man.
Watched Mattie Larson's statement. I don't think I've ever had such a hard time watching anything.
Here's what gets me: even without Nassar, the ranch sounds horrific.
USAG is not worth saving. I say burn it to the ground*.
*metaphorically. Please don't anybody actually commit arson.
Thank youWatched Mattie Larson's statement. I don't think I've ever had such a hard time watching anything.
Here's what gets me: even without Nassar, the ranch sounds horrific. Even if Nassar had never come along, the ranch would STILL be criminally abusive, and it would STILL be utterly revolting to know that NOBODY in the USAG leadership stepped up to say this situation wasn't acceptable.
USAG is not worth saving. I say burn it to the ground*. If USAG ceases to exist, my athletes will keep training, I'll keep coaching, and the world will keep spinning. But the idea of asking my athletes to pay membership dues to an organization which has failed this spectacularly is something I simply cannot stomach.

He claims his electronics were shared, and that any pornographic images (i think all were deleted and from a 4-month period in 2004) were not viewed by him. He couldn't claim that if it was images of him "treating" gymnasts.I’m almost afraid to ask this question, but if Larry was filming treatment and then charged with porn- is it assumed the gymnasts were in that collection of porn?
