WAG Event specialist??

How do individual event specialists qualify for elite? Do they still have to know other events and compete in those during trials and etc to qualify? I've always been very good at bars, but only beginner level in the other events.. so I'm interested in knowing if I have a chance :s

I know aiming for elite is a very tough goal and might sound unrealistic- but please don't be negative!

I know this isn't what you want to hear, but "individual event specialists" don't generally qualify for elite...one ususally becomes a specialist (a la Ali9cia Sacramone or Anna Li) AFTER having been in the elite system...and they have gotten into the elite system as an All Arounder...I'm not being negative but just factual..

Yeah, I researched this a bit myself and came to the conclusion that you at least need to be competent at all 4 events to the point that you can advance up the ranks to the highest level you want to get to - THEN you can specialize once you get there . I.e. you can't completely drop the events you don't want to do until that point because you'll never move any higher w/o them.

So if you want to specialize in college, you need to qualify all the way up to L10 w/ the minimum move up score (which can be anywhere from 31-34AA depending on the level) and then hope the right people see you doing your specialized event at the right meet and ask you to join their team to just do that event.

I actually don't know HOW you qualify for elite, but I'd imagine there is some type of minumum score you need on certain for specific skills that you need to "get in"...and I'm betting it involves all 4 events. Once there, maybe you'd get singled out for certain things just based on your bars ...like what happened w/ Makalya Maroney and vault (even though I'm pretty sure she does all the other events too).
