Wish I knew of this section earlier! Miss 7 has just been accepted in her club's National Development Program squad, level 2. She's only really been doing competitive gymnastics for a year now so she is progressing very well and enjoying it a lot.

I love this forum because we are a novice family in the world of gymnastics so learning a lot from you guys!

Hey I too am new and also finding this forum an invaluable help. I think I have my head a little around the different levels and comps, state, national and international. My dd is 5 and has had her first club assessment this weekend and we are waiting to hear back what specialist program they are recommending for her. She has also been given an assessment from WAIS so we have been literally thrown in the deep end. I had no idea she was even any good...nobody has ever mentioned anything to me except a young girl at a gym party once.

What state are you in? I am in WA.
