I have recently just gotten my cast handstand but every time i come down from it, I'm all archy and I usually peel off into the pit. Are there any tips or drills or advice for coming down in the correct position?

Put a floor bar in front of an 8" mat. Kick a handstand and push the bar as hard as you can, staying in a hollow. You should land flat, chest hips and feet all at the same time. Next time you cast, feel that same drop and your body should take over from there.

Good luck!

Sounds like you are arching on the bail/push-away. Hollow out as long as possible, push away from the bar, shoulders into ears.

you need to get a lot stronger & work better technique in order to be safe. Have your coach give you some conditioning and drills. You sould not be attemping a gaint unless your coach spots you and you are strong enough.

stay hollow throught the whole movement. it helped me too! :) <3
