It's a long season with time to iron out the beam wrinkles. I really like the balance in her scoring with bars right up there at the same level as floor and vault.

Whats so funny is vault is usually her lowest scoring event (with the exception of beam). Go figure! Plus she has recently been diagnosed with inter-metatarsal bursitis in her right foot. Nothing really to do about it but ice and aleve.

Ouch..... and rats!

It's not fun but not a deal breaker. I had tendonitis and bursitis all my college gym days, and managed it the same way..... ice and aspirin. Both were pretty severe but only affected me post gymnastics if I did something really, really stupid that most people wouldn't do anyway.
