I compete level 5 yesterday at our gyms home meet.
I am on the recreational team, and I couldn't be at the first session when the other level 5s were competing but my coach wanted me to compete to get scores, so I just compete with the level 6s at the later session.
Well it went wonderful!! I've never scored a 9 before and I got three of them!! On Vault, Beam and Floor. Bars is my worst event and I got an 8.65 which isn't to shabby for me (Considering last years home meet I got a 7.2!)
My coach put my scores in with all the other level 5's and if I had competed at the same time I would've gotten 1st on beam, floor and bars (!!!) and 2nd on vault. 1st all-around!
I would consider it a successful meet!! On to level 6 for championships.
