From what I've gathered there's the owner/HC plus two more main coaches who primarily work with Optionals, Compulsories have two main coaches, and Xcel has two main coaches. Then there are at least 2-4 others who mainly do the rec classes and assist with the teams.

I haven't seen any cancelled team practices since dd started. They changed the schedules on the weeks of Christmas/Christmas Eve and New Years so those were days off, but the gym was open the rest of the days of those weeks. Xcel actually had more practice time than usual during those weeks. Recreational classes didn't happen during those weeks at all.

We have two main coaches-one who does primarily vault and bars and another who does beam and floor. They coach all levels. There are two other coaches who help and cover all apparatus. We have additional coaches for the boys and for pre-team. Two kit coaches for the more recreational team (not Xcel but similar). Practices for the groups overlap so each one has their own set of coaches.

There are seven coaches for 75 girls Levels 3-8, Xcel Gold-Diamond. They run fifteen practices over 6 days of the week and girls are free to attend whichever fits in their schedule that week. Xcel girls are only required to do 2, JO girls do 3 or more. But they only send between 1 and 3 to meets, so there are always coaches left for practice. We don't host meets, so that isn't an issue. There is some cross-over between the nearest high school and the gym as the HC is also the highschool coach and all of the high school aged girls from that school are on the school team too. We've had a couple of times when one of the practices was cancelled or shortened due to other gym use (shared facility with city rec center) but since there are so many other options during the week it isn't a problem. And they add practices during school vacation weeks so that helps too.

We have 7 coaches for our team of 18 we are very lucky they all coach rec also but team training starts when rec is finished we usually only have on a Friday

For boys' team, 1 HC, 1 full-time AC, and one part-time AC for 12 boys. We do have practices cancelled on weekends when there are meets, but otherwise not very often.

For 12 boys?! So, so jealous...we have that for 30-odd boys. And the part-time AC (who works with the younger kids) is more like a post with a heartbeat...So my L5 ends up doing a lot of stations with minimal supervision. And since he's at an age where he can't effectively brush his teeth without supervision...you can guess how well that works.

We have maybe 12 for about 100 girls?

Our practices are rarely cancelled for meets. We often have schedule changes the week before the meet though.

We have 4 optional coaches, 6 compulsory/preteam coaches, and 9 xcel coaches. There is a bit of crossover with xcel and compulsory/preteam.

We have about 150 kids on team.
