Parents Question about recovery after wrist injury

Update. We have an appt for a pt evaluation on Tuesday so hopefully that will work. Question for those with kids who've had wrist injuries. Is it normal to be able to pull weight on it but not push? For example she can hang her weight and swing on the bar with no pain but a handstand causes lots of pain.
Yes, very common.
 
Yes.. DO NOT rush growth plate injury with the wrist. Take the time let it heal. If you do not it will just return. Bars never a problem for my D but BHS on beam, vault and floor agrivate it. Heal, tiger paws for prevention, mine uses only one and she tapes for beam. When it flares up usually when she grows we use ice therapy and few repetitions, limited skills till it calms down.

Yes, but she still should not hang from the bar if she hasn't been cleared by PT to do so.
