I am not claiming to be a medical professional at all but I saw this in the coaches forum and wanted to comment about stress fractures. One of the level 8 gymnasts has been out with stress fractures for several months. Her physician took her off Accutane (for acne) and her fractures healed. Not sure why. There are several articles on the internet about this. It might be worth checking out.
