My dd has been having trouble getting her Stalder. She told me last night that lately she has been working on Stoop (Sole???) Circle to Handstand and has not been working on her Stalder. Would this be a replacement or an intermediate step? or would it be going a totally different direction? I believe her handstands on bars are very strong, so I don't know if that factored into the decision. I also don't know if I'm crazy and one has nothing to do with the other. Just looking for some insight, so I don't have to ask her. Thx.

Yep, both fill the same requirements. If she can do one better than the other, that's her skill.

Look up some of Beth Tweddle's routines on YouTube to see what the sole to handstand can develop into.:)

Thanks for everyone's input, I like to figure out what is the plan without bugging anyone involved. And I just watched the Beth Tweddle PB routine from Beijing and it was amazing. I'll quit stressing over the lack of a Stalder.
