Is there a deadline date to qualify for a state meet?
We live in OH.
It is different for different levels.
Levels 3-4-5:
Your team had to register for the state meet by Feb. 28 (or incur $25 per gymnast penalty). If you had not yet qualified, they were to designate that (PENDING) on the entry form. Then, you have up until Monday, March 24 to notify them if you DON'T qualify in order to get a refund (minus a $25 processing fee).

Levels 6-7-8:
Your team has to register for the state meet by Mar. 7 (or incur $25 per gymnast penalty). If you have not yet qualified, they were to designate that on the entry form. Then, you have up until Monday, March 31 to notify them if you DON'T qualify in order to get a refund (minus a $25 processing fee).

Xcel and Levels 9-10:
Your team had to register for the state meet by Feb. 21 (or incur $25 per gymnast penalty). If you had not yet qualified, they were to designate that on the entry form. Then, you have up until Monday, March 17 to notify them if you DON'T qualify in order to get a refund (minus a $25 processing fee).

Since you have up to the Monday before the meet to notify them, then I would say that you should qualify by that Sunday night. :)

Thank you Raenndrops. My DD is L5 and has been recovering from an injury. She has not been able to compete all 4 events but will at her meet this weekend. Just wanted to clear up the confusion on whether she could still qualify for states or not.

She can, as long as her coaches turned in her name and money when they submitted their paperwork. Good luck this weekend. :)
