Woww,This video really goes to show how much gymnastics has changed...Also is it just me or do the bars seem to get further apart every decade??

I've always loved that video! Lol I wish I lived back then because gymnastics was so easy! I COULD'VE WENT TO THE OLYMPICS! Lol

Loved it. My DD couldn't believe some of the early bar moves. It was fun seeing the kip appear, then clear hip and casting to HS, etc. I just cringed though everytime they hit their hips on the low bar. What were they thinking? Ouch!

Oh thank you for that clip - i can't wait to show DD! She doesn't understand when I tell her bars are so different now then when Mom learned them!

Interesting to me was that all of the gymnasts from the 2000's on all use grips.
