WAG Vault set-up

Interested to know how you set up your vault/your gymnasts' vaults. I know it will vary with age & height and also depending on the vault being performed, but I just want to get a general idea.

I am 17 (about average height or maybe below average) and I have my vault at a height of 130 cm normally and I have my springboard (the end closest to the vault) about 1 metre from the vault, sometimes even 1 m 10 cm depending on which coach sets my vault (yes - I did once have a coach set my vault farther than I was expecting it)!!

All of my gymnasts vault on different settings. It just depends on the child - you mentioned age and height, yes, but also power in the run and hurdle. I have several six-year-olds who vault on what you might perceive as "harder" settings than their eight-year-old peers because they need to. Otherwise their vaults would be a complete mess.
