Parents Excited DD

My DD got to try on grips for her first time on Monday night. She is so excited. It's so cute how the little things excite them . Her team has been working on kips for a while. None of them have it, but they are so close.

Also good luck to all of those who have regionals this weekend. 3 girls from our gym are going.

Too cute! My DD and her teammates get to use straps on bars and they love it! DD's group usually just use straps for just swinging back and forth (not sure what the term is) although the coach has helped them do baby giants while wearing them. Straps are a big deal apparently. Good luck to your DD on the kip!

They get to use the strap bar as well. They put her on it when we first started there in October. She loves it. That's where she spends the majority of her free time. She is almost all the way around by herself. When she gets up top she arches her back. I love watching all of them progress. I saw your dd's back walkover on beam and she's looking good.
