Purposeful Change to Forums?

When I go to https://chalkbucket.com/forums it down defaults to a big list with unread threads across all forums at the top rather than the individual forums listed. Was this a purposeful change? (I personally find it annoying and prefer seeing the individual forums which is now an extra click on "forum list"). Thanks!

Yes… we will be testing it out to see how it works. It is meant to bring the new content to everyone quicker.

I think I have a solution for you though.

Ok... click on the logo... it will take you to the forum list now.

The "lightning" bolt on mobile will take you to the new posts... the logo to the forum list.

I was thrown off by this too. My first impression is that it takes an extra click to get to the list I'm used to, but I can just update my bookmark.

Basically... the concept is that new members (guests) want to see the most recent content... which is not the "forum list"... it is the "new posts". That is why the change is occurring.

Many current members... including myself... like the "forum list" page. It is still there... it's just not the first page that the site loads anymore.
