Hey
I’m an acro coach and was wondering what are the best exercise to improve their levers and then to develop onto lever to handstand. My gymnasts can do levers but their feet are not higher than their hips so abit of work is needed.
Does anyone know any good exercise.

Thanks:)

Sit in a straddle, place palms on floor and either hold feet off the ground or lift feet from floor to air.

Do lots of holds and reps. As in holds for 10-30 seconds or 10-30 reps. Basically focusing on building the abdominal strength and hip flexor strength.

Of course you can simply work straddle lever holds on a floor beam or parallettes or just fingertips.

Thanks a million. I've been doing that and taken them onto blocks to get used to grip etc thought there was something else out there someone had thought of :)

Thanks again :)
