Just been so busy with things and in my head. Started going to the gym again and losing weight.
Anyways, my dd's season is now also finished. She had her last competition on June 17th. She made regionals in May because she was 2nd in 1 of her 2 pre-competitions. So quite happy about that. Then with her regionals in May, she had a blister on her handpalm, right where the grips move, so her bars went quite bad. And she came 18th out of 36 girls. Just enough to go through to district. Which we hoped for her.
Last year she also made district, and she ended 27th out of 36 girls. So we weren't expecting a high placing. But she did better than expected. We were thinking 25th or something. But she came 18th. And such a shame, beam, which she usually is quite good at, she came off twice. So she was quite disappointed about that, because she know she would have ended up higher. But for her to make district again and place higher than last year, is very good.
