Gymnasts Can someone help me with figuring out how to rebound and land in the same spot I rebounded from?

I have been struggling to figure out how to rebound and stay in the same spot as well as how do I keep my leg straight in my leap pass if I don't feel it bending? Please comment if you have any suggestions.

Rebound out of what into what?

as how do I keep my leg straight in my leap pass if I don't feel it bending?
In what skills is this? Split leaps? Do you bend your front or back leg?

For back leg: What can help for me is thinking of squeezing and pushing my upper leg up. Often you'll start bending your leg because you're trying to get your foot as high as possible (thinking if your foot is high your leg is high). You don't need to get your foot up, you need to get your upper leg up.
For front leg: Think of stretching the leg out as much as you can.
Hope this helps :)
