As some of you may know, my DD, level 6, had a wrist (TFCC) sprain that kept her out of skills practice Nov-Feb. She healed well, and went on to compete three meets and score high on three events. She never competed bars. Her coach required she have solid giants and CH to handstand, and she is just getting these skills back now (she had them-- learned/competed them in TOPs).
I don't even know if her coaches would let her, and I'll talk to them too. Curious though if anyone knows if there is any way for my DD to compete states? I know injury petition dates have passed and she doesn't have the minimum score. But I also know 6 is a small level, she has won a state champ every year until now (bars last time!), and she has worked SO hard post recovery. I just feel for her. Is there anything to try?
