My 12 year old L9 didnt qualify this year . She needed a 32AA . She didn't do AA until the last meet of the season due to injury and she didn't make it (31.3) . I saw in another post that to qualify for states , someone needed a 29? So I was just curious if it differed state to state . We live in New Jersey . Thanks !!

The USAG R&P states that the qualifying score for states for 9&10 is 32. Then it states that the qualifying scores for L8 and below are set by each state.

@Lizzy Brennan , OMG I just glanced over at the qualifying scores before anything else and seen those AA scores of 40! My heart jumped a bit till I looked and seen it was for the boys lol. Just thought I'd share that lol.
Too funny! I do that sometimes, too. Every once in a while (more like daily) I will be looking in my CB feed, open a thread, and read something about an AA score higher than a 40 and become very confused. It happens.

So, basically their State scores are the same as the scores to go to Nationals. That's a pretty good way to do it :) In Ohio, we can use Zones as ONE MORE MEET in which to qualify for Nationals because the qualifying scores are lower.
Yup! If you qualify for state, you also qualify for Nationals. One and done.
