Parents Has anyone been to the Manhattan Classic in NYC?

Our gym is putting together the meets we will attend (levels 5-8) this year. Parents would like to suggest 1 meet for the team to attend. We are thinking of this one. Anyone have an opinion on it? is it worth it? the cost is kinda high(L3-L6 $100; L7-Elite $110 plus team fee). Whats the experience for the gymnasts our coaches are big on the girls developing a love of the sport.

Any other suggestions for a great meet? We are in the nnyc area so not too much travel(2-3 hours max) would be appreciated

Our team went to that meet last year. It was nice. I would go back. It is an expensive meet. Like you said, high entry fee. Parking is also expensive. The meet was at the Manhattan Community College last year. The facility was OK, older gym that had bleachers for parents. Awards were a LOOONNNGG walk to a different room. Admission for spectators was $10 or $15, not too bad for NYC. I have a vdeo of my dd at this meet. Let me know if you would like the like to take a look at the venue.
