WAG How to progress faster?

I have my left and right splits. I am about 5 inches off the ground on middles. Its driving me crazy. What stretches should I do to get them down all the way? And I suck on bars, I know bars is all about strength, so what exercises should I do to be stronger? Thanks in advanced.
 
bars: legless rope climb, parallel bar dips, hanging leg lifts, mastery of L, V, and cradle/candlestick hang.

start working long holds of middle split. 2-7 minutes
 
Middle splits just go under a springboard or have someone sit on you for 5 mins.... Although I have done this for the past 4 yrs and have never gotten down.
 
what I do is the normal straddle stretch, but instead of reaching with more of your hands try to make your stomach touch the ground so you don't have a very rounded back. Try doing that for like 3-5 minutes. Then once that becomes more easy for you try doing it with a bigger straddle. Then try your splits again and hold it for like 5-7 minutes. That what my coach told me when I was struggling. Hope this helped, Katie :D
