Hi All
My daugters coach has told her she needs her feet not pointed when doing back walkover and going landing in the bridge position.
My daughter has asked her coach how she does this and the reply was 'its your feet you should know when they are flat'.
Has anyone got any specific guidance that would help her land bridge flat footed .
Thankyou

she could try practicing pushing up into a bridge and walking around to build comfort and coordination in the position. practice kicking to a wall handstand and alternating between flex feet and pointed feet...

the technique is simple - point your toes in the handstand, flex your feet as they are about to land on the ground. try with flexed feet the whole time until she can do it, then add a little toe point?

When kids lift their heels it can often indicate a lack of flexibility. If this is the case practise reaching back towards an arch position from knees making sure the hips are tucked under (open) and shoulders are open. Also walking hands backwards down the wall into bridge with heels flat might help.
