Just a little vent.
This is dd first year competing and has done amazing in my eyes ( of course right? She's mine) her lowest score all year was 34,250. But stress is showing today.
Well my dd's state meet is Sunday and she was really struggling tonight at the gym. Falling off the beam, unable to so her mill circle, and an emotional basket case.

She usually has nerves of steel and seeing her like this breaks my heart. I keep reassuring her state is just another meet, and that even if she comes in last, she still has had an amazing year.
Prayers for her please !

I can't tell you how many times some of my girls look 'flat' or have an all out bad last practice before a meet, and then when it's show time it's like riding a bicycle and they get up there and do great. Let her get some of that nervousness and adrenaline out at practice, and see if she doesn't have another great meet at State. As you said, win or lose, she is still your daughter and is great no matter what! Good luck to you both, and let us know how she does. :)
