It happens. I can just about guarantee this won't be the last skill it happens on.

*shrug* don't stress about it.
 
munchkin, your dd sounds a LOT like Kipper, and I know EXACTLY how your feel. I was stressing over the missing kip something awful! There is a girl in Kipper's group who is still not kipping. I have noticed her Mom, who also has a L9 gymnast, is way more re relaxed about it than I was this summer. She has that gift of perspective. She said her older dd was the last one to kip in her group, but is the only one still doing gymnastics today. So, Odds are, your dd kip will return soon. However, if it takes a while longer, evidently that's okay, too.
 
Thanks everyone....i agree. Luckily I have a son L7 so I am not stressed about her kip per se. It is more that once she moves to L4, I only have to make 1 trip to the gym for both kids!!!!
I hate doing 3 to 6 and then 6 to 9!!!!!
6 to 9 sounds so much more RELAXING!!! LOL
