WAG What does this mean?

Sometimes I'll be looking at scores sheets and there will be this box that says "range." It says like, for scores 9.5-10 the range is .2. What does this mean and how does it affect a score? Thanks!
 
Okay thanks! But what happens if their scores aren't within that range? And how do they know what the actual score is going to be if they haven't averaged the 2 judges' scores yet? Like what if one judge scores a 9.2 and the other a 9.6 for example? Those two scores are in different categories for ranges.
 
That's when you see the judges get up from their tables and talk with each other... Seeing where each got the deductions, etc.
