Our province doesn't have a minimum score to go to provincials which is your states equivalent. Our girls qualify to provincials over four meets with their two highest scores averaged. They are then all ranked and the top athletes go to provincials. The cut off depends on how many kids there are in each age group and level. Level 3 which is the first qualifying level sometimes takes up to 120 kids in each age group that are split into 3 groups of 40 for scoring, 4 takes 80, 5 takes top 40, optional levels take only top 32 which means you need to be hitting 36s to qualify.
