Earlier this week I had posted on the "giving bad news" thread disappointed because my dd's coach had said she needed to stay L2 for the summer and maybe move up in the fall. Lo and behold, today the team coach was coaching the rec class and handed me a letter saying "I was going to mail this, but you're here so I'll give it to you now." The letter informed me that she has been selected for next year's L2 team! DH and I decided to let her read it before I left for work tonight, and she squealed with joy when she got to the part about being on team. I am so happy we told her!
