Broke my foot

Hey everyone
So at practice on Monday I was kind of fooling around when I was tumbling. So I was warming up a full and I didn't spin enough and I landed on the side of my foot and ya it just broke. Now I have to be out of the gym for a month and in a cast for 2 months :(:(:(:(. I mean ya it was stupid but I'm so sad now and I have to be in a boot after that for another month. This sucks so much because after that I can't really start training again for 3 weeks and I can't compete until march:(:(:(:(. I'm so sad can someone please cheer me up????
 
Injuries happen in gymnastics - there is no way to avoid them completely. The timing of your injury seems to be unfortunate, but you have to work around it. There are still so many things you can do in the gym with a broken foot. You can work on your upper body and core strength, specifically. Also, you should still be able to do some bar work.

But, I'm sorry to hear this and I hope you get well soon.
