How to make a perfect pony tail?

I have 2 ways:
1. What I do is I throw my head forward, I then brush it so I don't get any lumps or anything. When I have it neat and the hight I want, I put 2-3 elastics in it, because I have thick hair so it helps hold it! And then I put a scrunchie in to ensure it doesn't fall out.
2. Lay on the edge of your bed and let your hair dangle off the end. Then brush it and do the same as the other one. This can also really help your stomach muscles if you bring your body up
 
Flip your head down and gather your hair as high as you want it. Brush out any bumps in your other hair. Then get a ponytail holder and wrap it around your hair as many times as you can. Then tighten it.
