My 10 year old daughter suffers from an extreme case of hyperhidrosis and the only thing that works for her is Iontophoresis. The machine they sell in the US was crap and did not do a thing. We bought one for $1,000 from Germany and it is amazing. She has never experienced burns or blisters or any severe adverse effects. The person you know who has did not use their machine correctly.Ionto for sweaty hands of gymnasts?? Yeah, I wouldn't recommend that. Have you ever seen the blisters that it leaves? That would feel really good under a pair of grips. Maybe with some dex added for anti-inflammatory effects but it still causes irritation and aloe won't help quick enough to soothe it for these athletes. Seriously, deodorant. It won't blister or cause skin irritation to the area that is used all of the time in gymnasts.
