What is level PN?

Hi. We have a visiting gymnast for the summer. She claims to be a level 8, but other than a back handspring on the beam, she has no optional skills. So I got curious and looked her up online. At her most recent meets she competed as level PN. What does that mean?

Probably a designation for the prep op program in that state. I would think prep novice, but the way most states have it, that's a pretty introductory level, so having a back handspring on beam wouldn't really match with that.

Where is she from? In MA, that means Prep Novice, but I agree that a bhs on beam doesn't fit...although novices can do backwalkovers I believe, so she may have been uptraining a bhs. Just a thought.

She is from south Florida. The Prep Novice makes sense. She really has no other skills to speak of. I would have guessed that she was working on level 4 or 5, except for her beam skills and her dance skills (turns and leaps) are more advanced. Thank you.
