I was shocked!
Im in level 3 ARE YOU KIDDING!
I worked so hard on this. How do I boost my level higher?
and Thank-You To those who help me indentify skills to get me to at least a level 5.
You don't know how much this means to me.

Thanks

Hi there. Your coach is really the one who can tell you what skills you need, as we don't know what skills you already have. You can watch L5 routines on youtube and you will very quickly see what skills there are.

Can you please change your font and the colour to something a bit less bold, it is hard to read when it is so garish. Thanks.

Don't be shocked, levels in gymnastics are not like grades in school, it takes a long time to progress from level to level and a lot of hard work.

General skills needed for level 5 are

Vault - handspring over the vault table to feet

Bars - Glide kip, front hip circle, back hip circle, squat on and jump to high bar, long kip, 1/2 turn swing

Beam - handstand, cartwheel, various leaps, jumps and turns

Floor - round off followed by two back handsprings, back walkover, back extension roll to handstand, front handsprings, dive roll and various leaps, jumps and turns.

Remember that the average level 5 gymnast trains 12-16 hours a week, so to reach level 5 you should be prepared to train 4 days a week for 3-4 hours a day.
