ya i read that on gymnasticscoaching.com this week, it sounds like a good idea. i dont think anyone is liking this new system

It's a really good idea; I know I'm not liking the new system and it's hard to understand, so maybe they'll change it! (fingers crossed)

It is confusing, and it makes the gymnasts do harder and harder things so that they can win with the most difficulty even if its not flawless. NO ONE who falls in elite should be able to win over a flawless routine. (Like the Chinese gymnast who fell or messed up her vaults, but still beat Alicia S who was just about flawless in '08 event finals--I hope I'm remembering this correctly).
